Speech

Speech development is an important part of learning. When a person learns to speak correctly at an early age they do better in reading, writing and even maths and science.

We coach children and adults to be fluent, audible, and get the most out of their voice, including how to control breathing to enhance speech.

People with acquired brain-related disorders

Brain related (neurological) disorders are common among people who have suffered stroke or other brain injury. These  include:

  • Progressive neurological disorders like Dementia and Motor Neuron Disease
  • Head and neck cancer (Laryngectomy)
  • Tracheostomy
  • Voice problems
  • Stammering
  • Hearing impairment (cochlear implant, hearing aid)
